I mean wouldnt that be the best way to come back? Be Tebow, win some playoff games, maybe a Super Bowl, then announce you are Jesus and here to start the rapture. BOOM. This is how you bring back religion to the masses. Thoughts?

hahaha, sadly, I kind of agree with this. How crazy would that be for the Broncos to come in and win the super bowl and be led by none other than Timmy Tebow!

This is a fairly crazy comment. I mean, in theory, if Jesus were to come back, why would he come back as someone else instead of himself? Why?

I know some hardcore Christians who would abandon religion altogether if they found out that Jesus had come back as Tebow. Of course, they're also diehard Steelers fans so they aren't too intelligent to begin with. But really, if they thought that Jesus came back as Tebow they would seriously spit in the face of religion.

I may just plant that seed of doubt into their heads to test their faith LOL

Yea I don't think Jesus would come back as a pro football player. It's almost insulting. :o

This would be a pretty amazing thing to happen. Tebow does seem to have magical powers. All joking aside this is a pretty ridiculous idea but quite entertaining to think about.

I would hope he does so I can see the true heart of some Christian Steelers fans that I know. Trust me, it would be very entertaining for me to witness that.

I really do admire his devout faith in Christ without a hint of humility of embarrassment. I just wish these silly sportscasters would stop putting every win/loss on God's great shoulders. It isn't like all of Tebow's opponents are atheist demonlovers. I guess I just wish there were a happy separation between Religion and sports.

I overheard someone today saying that they hate review because he "forces religion down their throats" I find it comical though because from what I have seen he has done the opposite and it seems to be the media that constantly plays on his religion

If he wanted to reach a large amount of people who need saving, there's nothing wrong with football.

There are so many differing beliefs even in Christianity. One is that God would forgive everyone no matter what as long as they repent their sins and the other is that there will be a Judgement day and you will be shipped off to Hell if you are "evil".

106 million people watched last years Super Bowl and I'm sure a decent enough percentage are religious so why would he come back as a football player instead of as himself and take up the 2.1 billion that already believe in him?

Then again I realize this is just a silly topic but seeing how ridiculous the news is by actually reporting on him throwing 316 yards and relating it to a Bible verse that doesn't even have any relevance is pretty dumb. Anything for ratings.

I think the more interesting thing about Tebow, is the amount of honest, hard working, average Joe's who simply hate him for making his religion public knowledge. I know people who call themselves religious, go to church, LOVE football, and HATE Tebow for simply for being openly religious. The same people have no issue with the other dog fighting, gun toting, wife cheating, money flaunting players of the NFL. They say they watch the game for simply the game, and that's it.

I don't really care for this Tebow guy. I also don't like the way he throws his beliefs around as if he's some supernatural being himself.
